Rail transport is a means of transferring passengers and goods on wheeled vehicles running on rails, which are located on tracks. In contrast to road transport, where the vehicles run on a prepared flat surface, rail vehicles are directionally guided by the tracks on which they run.

✅ Vacancy Trades: Fitter, Welder (G&E), Armature Winder, Machinist, Carpenter, Electrician, Painter, Mechanic, Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance, Wireman.
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ 15 to 24 years as on 1st September 2021
✔️ Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST and 03 years for OBC.
✔️ Maximum 10 years for Physically handicapped persons.
✅ Stipend: ₹ 18000 – 56900/-
✅ Graduation details are
✔️ Matriculation or 10th Class Pass in 10+2 Examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized board.
✔️ National Certificate / ITI Certificate in respective trade issued by NCVT / SCVT.
✅ Interview Process:
✔️ The selection on the basis of Merit List. The Merit list will be prepared on the average of percentage of marks obtained 10th or equivalent exam and ITI.
✔️ There will be no Written Exam or Interview for this selection.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 100/- and portal fee of ₹ 70/- GST is to be paid by the candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC, ST, Physically handicapped and women candidates.
✅ How to Apply: Eligible Interested candidates apply online through RRC Prayagraj Online Application Portal (rrcprjapprentices.in). The candidates are required to fill up the personal details Aadhar Number / PAN Number / Marks / CGPA / Preferences for Divisions / Workshops / Trade etc. The last date for registration of online applications is 01/09/2021 up to 23:59 Hours.
